On the pacific coast we can dig razor clams and they are very meaty and tasty
Fry them in some butter and voila
Plated with some fries and homemade tarter sauce..

I just love what you did with those clams. You got me wanting to do this next year. Would spring break too late to plan a clamming trip in WA or OR? I've made my family watch the clamming video you posted over and over again :)

I'm not sure about Oregon and there rules but may 7th was the last dig this year in Washington, but there may be a special dig in november or December. You can sign up to the Washington Dept of Fish and wildlife emails where they will send you upcoming clam digs. Go Here http://wdfw.wa.gov/lists/ Cant wait to see some clams on your Blog!!
